Painting sash windows
Paint
Stripping, sanding and Painting
While repairing or renovating sash windows it will probably be
necessary to strip the existing paint work.
We utilise heat guns to remove as much paint as possible, then
sand and fill with either 2 part resin filler as well as exterior
grade powder filler. The existing putty is also repaired if necessary.
The window is then sanded with fine 240 grit paper to give a superior
smooth finish.
All
glass is taped to give an extra straight finish to the surrounding
paint work. We will then prime and undercoat using an acrylic
pure brilliant white paint
